Let’s start with some good news: I have an agent! I’m now being represented by Jane Dystel of Dystel, Goderich & Bourret. Hooray! I hope to have more good announcements soon (even if reviews will be more spaced apart as I get to work on what I  hope will become a fun project).

Now onto the regular news. These book banning bills are, as expected, an absolute mess. Look at what’s happening in Texas. I hate it, thanks!

The Atlantic takes a look at seven books that critics were wrong about.

NBC News asked libraries for their young adult suggestion — here’s the 13 books they chose.

Heads up to romance fans: Smart Bitches, Trashy Romances now has a sticker collection.

Publisher’s Weekly has a nice piece about Judy Bloom on film.

I almost linked to a book piece that started out as funny but then the author included a transphobic sneer (gotta be careful with UK women of a certain age). No thanks! Instead, here’s a piece about Trans Day of Visibility, which is today! via the Philadelphia Inquirer.
